Disable Resample

Disable resample is a problem that alot of video editors deal with when dealing with Sony Vegas Pro in that you have to go in and change the properties for each clip in your timeline in order to disable resampling for them all. This script will allow you to adjust the resample in all your clips in one click. Nice? I think so! You will have copy this into your vegas script menu folder for this to work and voila!

  1. Right click on the video clip. A drop-window will pop up with a number of selections. Click on the last section called ‘Properties’. The ‘Properties’ window will pop up. There will be three options near the bottom called “Smart Resample, Force Resample, and Disable Resample'. Check the ‘Disable Resample’ button to disable motion blur on the video clip.
  2. As per title: is there a way to make 'disable resample' the default for all video clips? I know that it only takes two mouse clicks, but doing all the time for all projects over and over again is nevertheless annoying. I'm using Vegas pro 14 under Windows 7 64 bit. I have an i5 CPU and an AMD GPU.
  3. Hey guys, I finally found a quick workaround for having to click Disable Resample on every single clip in every single Sony Vegas project! Just click one button before rendering!
  4. To disable resampling you have to right click and choose the option on every single clip in your project. But a little while ago I found this tutorial that gives you a script and shows you how to use it in Sony Vegas. With this you only need one button to disable resample on the entire project.

Disable resample davinci resolve

I have recently bought an expensive USB DAC capable of both 44.1KHz & 48KHz sampling rates. It is reported as a Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702. At the moment it seems that most of my programs that output sound (mpd, smplayer, vlc, aplay, etc.) all result in 44.1KHz music being resampled to 48KHz. For example, the following is playing a 44.1KHz wav file using aplay;

aplay correctly identifies the file as 44.1KHz, but alsa is sending 48KHz to the DAC;

However if I add the -Dhw:0,0 to aplay, alsa sends 44.1KHz to the DAC, so I know that it is possible to get what I want. Avast download center.

I can achieve something similar with smplayer's GUI Options-->Preferences-->General-->Audio as the 'Output driver' drop-down list offers me several options; if I select alsa it resamples to 48KHz, however if I select alsa (0.0 - Burr-Brown Japan PCM2702 it outputs 44.1KHz.

So my question is this - what is the simplest/cleanest way to disable resampling & get alsa to output the original audio to the DAC? I've spent hours trawling the web & reading all sorts of wikis & howtos about .asoundrc/asound.conf, but I have failed to find anything that directly addresses this problem, which should be a simple fix!
