Adventure (nes Graphics)

A downloadable graphics pack

Thank you for viewing the Elven Adventure NES Style Graphics Pack! This pack contains everything you need to get started on making an NES style top down adventure game! Tiles are 8x8, and sprites vary in size. Assets are intended to start you off with a style and get expanded as you advance your project.

Graphics

As of 2006, this is hailed as one of the greatest NES hacks of all time. This Super Mario Brothers 3 hack changes the game right down to the core by tweaking the actual game engine itself! Aside from the ‘typical’ graphics and text changes, this hack alters musical melodies, a full line up of all new levels, new power ups, new abilities for. Apple IIGS, Atari ST, Amiga, CD-i, Game Boy Color, Apple Macintosh, Nintendo Entertainment System, Palm OS, DOS, Pocket PC (ARM, MIPS), Mobile Phone July 30, 1987 The Faery Tale Adventure. NES’ Native Resolution The NES native resolution is 256x240 px. In a world where contemporary consoles can run 1,920x1,080 px, it's hard to imagine that pushing the technical limitations. On my twitter page (follow me if you haven’t yet!) I’ve been creating a few very quick tutorials to help people understand what NES graphics mean. I see a lot of people doing pixel art and just calling it “8-bit” or “NES style”, but a lot of the time it misses the target by a fair margin.

Perhaps down the road- I do update these from time to time, though they’re mostly meant to serve as a template to expand on. I wouldn’t mind doing some cave and house interiors though 🤔🤔

Nes Adventure Island 3

Hi

I'm very interested in this asset pack. Would it be possible to upload a few screenshots that give a better idea of the style / content. Thanks

Hey there!
I've uploaded a shot that shows some of the assets in use that gives a good idea of what's in the pack~
